Nestled in Lower Kaimai, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, our little flower farm is built around a love of growing flowers and sharing their beauty with others.
What you'll find here is a little bit of everything we love: seasonal blooms, garden-inspired bouquets, wedding flowers and, of course, dahlias!
Our story
Blossom and Bulb Co. was born from hobby that grew into something much more...
Our love for growing began around six years ago, after moving to a property with a simple red decorative dahlia growing in the garden. We quickly fell in love, and that one little flower sparked what has become a rather big dahlia obsession!
There's something about dahlias that keeps us captivated. We love their incredible variety of colours, shapes and sizes, but it's the detail that really gets us. The geometry of each bloom and the way the Fibonacci sequence appears in their petals is endlessly fascinating.
What started as a hobby has grown into a flower farm and business that we're so proud of. We're still just as excited by every new variety, every flower that opens and all the possibilities that come with growing something beautiful.

Our little flower farm is tucked away in Lower Kaimai, where we grow, nurture and harvest all of our own flowers.
There's something pretty special about being involved in every part of the process, from planting tiny seeds and dividing dahlia tubers through winter, to watching the garden burst into colour through the warmer months.
We grow with the seasons, always experimenting with new varieties and falling in love with new flowers along the way. Our dahlias will always have a special place in our hearts, and we're passionate about growing beautiful, interesting varieties that bring a little joy to others.

From the flowers we grow for markets and weddings to the dahlia tubers we carefully lift, divide and share each winter, we do it all ourselves. We love discovering new varieties, growing something a little different and sharing the flowers that we're so passionate about.
Our dahlia tubers are carefully divided and checked before making their way to a new home. There's something so heartwarming about knowing that a little piece of our garden will go on to grow in someone else's.
