Blossom & Bulb Co. – Dahlia Tuber Sale Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Blossom & Bulb Co., you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Tuber Quality

• All tubers are grown with care on our Bay of Plenty flower farm.

• Every tuber is individually inspected before sale and has been divided with at least one visible growing eye.

• While we take every precaution to produce healthy stock, dahlias are living plants and cannot be guaranteed against factors outside of our control once they leave our care.

Product Availability

• Some dahlia varieties are available in very limited quantities  and may sell out quickly.

• Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it.

• Tubers are only secured once your order has been successfully completed and payment has been received.

• If another customer completes checkout first, an item in your cart may become unavailable.

• In the unlikely event that an inventory error occurs or a tuber is found to be unsuitable before dispatch, Blossom & Bulb Co. reserves the right to cancel that item and issue a full refund for the unavailable tuber.

Dispatch

• We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 3 weeks of receiving payment.

• If there are significant delays, we will notify you.

Shipping

• Tubers are carefully packaged to minimise the risk of damage during transit.

• Once your parcel has been handed to the courier, Blossom & Bulb Co. is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the courier.

• Please ensure your shipping address is correct when placing your order.

On Arrival

• Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

• If you have any concerns regarding your tubers, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

• We may request photographs to help assess any issues.

• Concerns raised after 7 days may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

Growing Success

• We provide healthy tubers ready for planting in spring, however we cannot guarantee growth or flowering as success depends on planting methods, soil conditions, weather, pests, diseases, and ongoing care that are outside our control.

Variety Accuracy

• We take great care to ensure all tubers are labelled correctly. However, as with all dahlia growers, occasional mislabelling can occur despite our best efforts.

• If a tuber proves to be incorrectly labelled, please contact us with photographs once it flowers, and we will work with you to find a fair resolution.

Disease Control

• We have a strict sanitisation protocol both during the cut flower season and dividing.

• Despite careful growing practices, we cannot guarantee tubers are completely free from disease or virus.

Refunds & Replacements

• Refunds or replacements are offered at our discretion where tubers arrive damaged, are missing, or do not meet the above standards.

• Refunds will not be provided for issues resulting from incorrect planting, weather conditions, pests, disease introduced after delivery, or other factors beyond our control.

Acceptance

• By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
